This summer, as some of you know, I had the opportunity to travel to the UK for my summer holidays. While I was there I met a guy from Argentina who is around my age. Recently he has asked me to come visit him in his home country Argentina. While I would really like to do this I think it might be awkward because I have never meet his family. I also plan on spending my summer in the UK for the majority of my summer so I am uncertain about how to fit all of this in. I am told that I am supposed to elaborate on my blogs but I am uncertain about how to do this. Miss Feick any advice on how to elaborate?
Sure, Dylan. It's simple--give more details. Describe your friend, how you met, where he lives in Argentina. Elaborate on the awkwardness--what are you worried about, exactly? Making a bad impression? Think about what "follow-up questions" someone might ask you if you read them your blog, then fill in that information. :)
